Working For The Weekend

Vacation is done
Kids have started to return
And so it begins.

Sick of long meetings
Tired of all the prep work too
Let's get this started.

Stuff in my mail box
Sent from two different countries
Too bad I mailed it.

The town is all gone
Nothing but some old ruins
But the letter remains.
