Things Ain't Cooking In My Kitchen

Out hunting for food
Walking across the city
Just to make a meal.

Onions and chicken
Garlic, beans and green peppers
Made a fine chili.

This week had a few
Meetings about my future
Wish I knew the way.

I wrote a haiku
But I got scared to publish it
So this took its place.
